“迺廬”，迺，“乃”字的繁體字，爲罕見姓氏。聽聞别墅主人的先祖年輕時(shí)爲了養家糊口漂洋過(guò)海到舊金山工作，後(hòu)來老有所成(chéng)一心回國(guó)發(fā)展，繼而選擇在這(zhè)裡(lǐ)安居樂業。然而别墅的主人從小對(duì)藝術就(jiù)有著(zhe)濃厚的興趣，在當初挑選衆多競标入駐品牌公司的時(shí)候，發(fā)現了DPD設計，仿如千裡(lǐ)馬遇到伯樂一樣，也因這(zhè)樣，DPD設計咨詢公司辦公室新址就(jiù)誕生了。它雖然立于東山口群樓别墅之中，卻盡享環境之優異，于鬧市中一片甯靜。不參與外界的紛紛擾擾，隻想用設計和藝術創造出屬于自己的特色。東山口向(xiàng)來是廣州權勢實力人士的的世居地，出入東山多是官家子弟。花園式洋房與現代高樓，現代與傳統，各分東西，相輔相成(chéng)，是支撐著(zhe)整個三十年代廣州商業社會(huì)的兩(liǎng)大縮影。走過(guò)一條條有著(zhe)經(jīng)過(guò)時(shí)代沖洗過(guò)的西式别墅，安靜整潔的街道(dào)，轉角就(jiù)能(néng)看到了一棟白灰結合的别墅，在歐式的外形建築風格包裹下，你未必能(néng)猜到裡(lǐ)面(miàn)是一片怎樣的天地。

Nai, the last name of the villa owner, is rarely seen in China. Word has it that the ancestor of the owner went all the way to San Francisco to search for fortune when he was young. In older age he had achieved what he dreamt of and decided to go back to China. He then settled down in this villa and developed his career and family. The owner had great interest in art since childhood, so when he met DPD in all the competing companies he felt like he finally found the lost glass slipper. Therefore, DPD Consultant started its journey here, surrounded by all kinds of villas in Dongshankou, yet keeps its inner peace in the busy noisy world. It only focuses on creating its own corner of design and art, regardless of the changes outside. Dongshankou is traditionally the residential area for rich and powerful people in Guangzhou. Little houses with gardens and tall buildings, tradition and modern times co-exist harmoniously together here, reflecting the commercial society of Guangzhou in 1930s. When you stroll down the quiet street of western style old villas, you will meet a little black-and-gray one. It has the surface of a European architecture, but you will not possibly know what it looks like inside.

說(shuō)起(qǐ)辦公室，普遍都(dōu)是給人一種(zhǒng)專業，嚴肅，規整的感覺。但我不這(zhè)樣認爲，我覺得它也可以變得舒适，充滿獨特的設計和時(shí)尚元素。或許，當你遇到一個讓你喜歡的辦公環境時(shí)，你不單單是在專心工作，還(hái)會(huì)享受于自身的環境裡(lǐ)工作。

We’re just tired of the boring working environment. Sometimes a little bit change will make a whole lot of difference. People usually think office is neat, professional and serious. However, I think office can be comfortable, unique and fashionable.  Maybe when you’re in an office you really like, you don’t only work but also enjoy the environment surrounds you.

如今，我們的生活處處離不開(kāi)設計，設計在不知不覺中已然成(chéng)爲最真實的生活寫照以及特定時(shí)期内人類種(zhǒng)種(zhǒng)需求的綜合體現。離開(kāi)繁忙多人的環境，讓自己處于一片幹淨舒服的工作環境中發(fā)揮天馬行空。據了解，DPD主持設計師Michael.LIN在當初對(duì)辦公室的設計構思上，是旨在打造出一個舒适的生活工作空間。簡單的白色牆體其他灰白色的色澤搭配，空間的立體效果和象征簡約自由的風格被诠釋的淋漓盡緻。在部分材料上采用原木材質的門闆和簡約風的家具選用使得室内的裝飾貼切自然，配合一些簡約具有設計感的擺飾，還(hái)有猩猩、大象、野豬和DPD的兩(liǎng)隻小王子，給安靜舒服的環境中增加了不少生氣，頓時(shí)整個氛圍變得不一樣。

Nowadays, design is everywhere. It’s gradually becoming a necessary in every aspect of life. When you get away from the crowded society, you will want to work in a clean comfortable working environment. When Michael Lin, the main designer of DPD, first started to design this office, he wanted to create a comfortable space for work as well as living. White walls go along perfectly with gray and other natural colors. He successfully displayed a space of freedom and simplicity. Simple wood doors and furniture make the office closer to nature. Some special decorations like gorillas, elephants, boars, together with two cute cat princes totally bring the office to life.

二樓的露天陽台是一個方便大家休息，閑來小聚一下的地方，DPD的另一位負責人Seven.Mok說(shuō)過(guò)，這(zhè)是整棟别墅中最受歡迎的地方之一。平時(shí)大家都(dōu)喜歡帶上一杯茶飲圍坐在這(zhè)裡(lǐ)，呼吸著(zhe)新鮮的空氣，高談論闊；有時(shí)候會(huì)嘻嘻鬧鬧分享著(zhe)自己的生活點滴，有時(shí)候會(huì)在這(zhè)互相讨論項目上自己的構思想法。來公司見面(miàn)的客人很多也都(dōu)喜歡在這(zhè)裡(lǐ)坐著(zhe)休息或者看看周邊風景。沿著(zhe)樓梯往上走，溫暖的陽光照射進(jìn)來讓人覺得很惬意。你會(huì)發(fā)現發(fā)現這(zhè)裡(lǐ)每一個角落都(dōu)很有趣，仿佛随便找一個地方都(dōu)是可以讓你有不同感覺。樓梯是采用柚木闆搭鋪，讓人有一種(zhǒng)貼近大自然的感覺，而這(zhè)也是對(duì)木材情有獨鍾的一個原因之一。

The open balcony on the second floor is for people to rest and party. Another founder of DPD, Seven Mok said it is the most popular place in this villa. People like to come here to drink tea, get fresh air and chat about daily life or new project ideas. Many clients also like to have a rest here and enjoy the sceneries around. Following the sunshine upstairs, you will find that every corner of the office has its own charm and will give you different feelings. The stairs are made of teak which will bring you closer to nature. This is one of the reasons why we prefer wood than other materials.

爲了塑造更加休閑舒适的辦公環境，辦公環境的家具都(dōu)是以簡約的黑白爲主，在辦公區還(hái)特意空出一角，搭配舒适的Grado品牌貝殼椅，以及便利的多用途沙發(fā)，可以讓員工不受外界的幹擾而專注于思考或者一起(qǐ)展開(kāi)讨論，工作效率也會(huì)随之而提高。連設計師Michael本人都(dōu)會(huì)喜歡坐在這(zhè)裡(lǐ)安靜的看一個下午的書。對(duì)傳統室内空間的定義應該由單純的内部空間轉變爲室内和室外空間之間的緊密接連，這(zhè)種(zhǒng)轉變打破了私人和公共空間之間的界限。空間的布局可以影響很多東西，從合理人性化到施工落地所需。項目的完成(chéng)從空間的布局，材料的挑選，到最後(hòu)施工落地，每一個環節都(dōu)緊緊相扣，設計項目成(chéng)品，就(jiù)像打磨一塊上等玉石一樣，經(jīng)過(guò)時(shí)間和制作者日以繼夜的用心開(kāi)拓，才成(chéng)讓它變得發(fā)光發(fā)亮。在項目完成(chéng)後(hòu)的蛻皮都(dōu)是漫長(cháng)和耐心。

In order to make the office more casual and comfortable, all the furniture are basically black and white. We also saved a corner for discussion, in which we put Grado shell chairs and multipurpose sofas. Even Michael himself enjoys reading in this corner. The definition of space is not limited to indoor anymore. It’s more about the connection between indoor and outdoor space, which breaks down the barrier between personal and public areas. In order to achieve this, we started from design, to material choosing, to construction, to the final masterpiece. Countless time and hard work was devoted to it. We treat it like polishing a high quality jade. Only with patience can we make it smooth and shiny.
